Walking along the beach at Minnis Bay Kent on this holiday weekend I noticed this loan deckchair sitting on the beach, the weather produced a fantastic sky with dark storm clouds and holy sharfts of light.

Yesterday I was told of the untimely death of my friend Jonathan Evarard of JME Healeys. I had know Jon since the early 1990's when we competed on the Classic Marathon rallies and later we collaborated on many stories for Supercar Classics and Octane Magazine. I have great memories of Jon and he will not be forgotten my many in the Austin Healey fraternity!

The Royal Hospital Chelsea London is hostng The Auto Legends event on 5th September 2010 so some of the Chelsea residents were spotted taking a close look at one of the Le Mans cars that will be featured in the event.

Living only a few miles from the Ace Cafe I try to visit Americana meets such as Hot Rod and Streetfighter nights where I can mill around the interesting vehicles and que up for a Hamburger and beer joining the crowd to watch burnouts and stunts in the street as buses and semi trucks roll on bye. I was lucky enough to spend time with the Caparo sportscar at the Factory in Norfolk England. This two seat flyer is the closes thing to an F1 car you can drive on the road. The shoot was part of a major story for a US magazine.
