1982 Audi Quattro Coupe returns to Monte Carlo Rally stages

Back in 1982 Mel Nichols editor of Car Magazine and I followed the Monte Carlo Rally that year in a white 1982 Quattro Coupe.Mel the first journalist to put the car through it’s paces on the slippery winter roads of the French Alps. We have just returned from driving 1500miles in this 1982 car part of Audi UK’s heritage collection, for a story in Octane Magazine to see how the car stands up after 33 years.
