While searching my archive for images of the 1983 Monte Carlo rally for a friends book, I found this image of Bruno Sappey’s Renault 5 Rallye stopped at a rally control in the car park of a mountain in high in the Alps. For me the image has all the romance of the classic mountain event,motorsport at it’s best!
